Countertop Store VS Kitchen and bath showrooms
Many clients think that going to a showroom and choosing from the sample is a good choice. I am here to let you know that it is not. The samples are just the part of the granite the showrooms wants you to see. There could be 2 samples that look different and actually come from the same slab. Each slab has many variations and coloration, so you can see one sample light and one darker and they can be from the same slab. The patterns vary so greatly. Go straight to a fabricator instead of showrooms. You should always look at the full slab before making a purchase because of its uniqueness. Never trust a sample in a showroom especially since they don’t change the samples every year, so the sample you might see is from a slab that does not even exist anymore.
When going to a showroom the sales person is there to sell, sell, and sell. They are not professionals about stones for countertops. They cannot tell you the difference between the stones and which stone suits your lifestyle better and why. Going straight to fabricator that only does stone countertops will give you an advantage and get you much more information so you can make a decision.
Slab quality is also very important as a client you would not know a commercial quality from a premium quality, we know it so well there is no tricking us. A good fabricator will help you find the right slab for your project. If you pay for premium you want to make sure it’s premium.
We are here to guide you through the process of your kitchen project. We want to make it an easy process for you, we can recommend the best countertop fabricators in your area, and they can educate you on the stones so you know which one best suits you.
Some places will show you a small sample, but the actual slab looks much different when you see the larger piece of it.
